Review: My thoughts on the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x

As you may have heard, Windows on ARM is back. Thanks to Qualcomm’s amazing Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus processors, it’s been a joy to use a Windows 11 laptop that doesn’t have an Intel or AMD chip, at least until I got my hands on one. Not only does the Yoga Slim 7x perform well, but itslenovo Yoga Slim 7x Laptop Battery life is just as good. Despite being a very basic machine overall, it’s quickly become my favorite Windows laptop I’ve ever used.

Forget what you knew about ARM chips inside Windows laptops. The lackluster performance, so-so battery life, and app compatibility issues were supposed to be fixed, at least in most cases. These new Snapdragon chips address those issues and create an experience that frankly makes me want to use Windows again.

It’s also powerful enough to handle most GPU-intensive tasks, like running multiple external 4K monitors or editing videos. I rarely do video editing, but I connected multiple 4K monitors at once and didn’t see any performance degradation. Perhaps more importantly, the battery life. My MacBook has a solid 11+ hours of MacBook battery life, which forces me to take it with me on every trip instead of a Windows machine. But the Slim 7x is good enough to make me think twice.

You also get new AI features that haven’t been released yet. The Yoga Slim 7x is a Copilot+ PC, which means it meets all of Microsoft’s performance and security requirements for features like Recall, Image Creator, and third-party in-app features that rely on the Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This is the closest laptop I’ve ever used to a MacBook Air experience. It has a gorgeous display, fast performance, and reliable lenovo Yoga Slim 7x Laptop Battery life, all of which are MacBook Air hallmarks, and now Windows users can enjoy them with the operating system of their choice.
