Today I want to introduce you to a device designed for processing large amounts of text. Until recently, I was used to using a cheap but very convenient Logitech UltraX typing keyboard, and I chose it for two reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Logitech k800 keyboard<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The <\/a><\/a><\/strong>Logitech k800 Keyboard battery<\/strong> <\/a>that powers the electronics of the K800 is located on the back. Incidentally, this housing shape allows the keyboard to be placed upright to free up desk space if necessary. I find this a very convenient feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The K800 is slightly larger than the wired keyboard, again because the battery and electronics are located on the back. There is also a difference in style: the K800 is not angular like the illuminated keyboard, but has rounded corners. However, it inherits the transparent plastic frame of the latter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Logitech k800 design<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wrist rest with the Logitech logo in the middle is made of plastic, which feels good, but there is no soft coating. I don’t mind this. As I found with the Logitech Revolution MX mouse, the rubberized plastic tends to wear where the fingers and palms come into contact the most. The resulting bald spots are far from aesthetically pleasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the back, you can see the Logitech k800 battery <\/u><\/strong><\/a>compartment cover with the Logitech logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The integrated battery could be a problem, but Logitech chose a different and better solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The back of the keyboard is thick and the surface is naturally inclined, but if the inclination is not enough, the keyboard feet can be unfolded to increase the inclination by 8 degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 Logitech k800 battery<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unscrewing the battery compartment and opening the battery compartment, you can see two rechargeable NiMH AA batteries with a capacity of 2000 mAh. When the batteries are exhausted, you can easily replace them with othe Logitech k800  keyboard battery<\/strong>(probably high-capacity batteries), such as Varta Power Accu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 Logitech k800 charging<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The replace Logitech k800 Keyboard batteries <\/a><\/strong>can be charged using a Micro-USB connector and a suitable cable (one such cable is included in the box). Micro-USB connectors are currently replacing smartphones, play<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The on\/off switch is located in the upper right corner of the K800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
