We reviewed the ConceptD 7 Pro with NVIDIA RTX 5000 graphics. We got our hands on the Acer ConceptD 7 Pro to see how it performs as a mobile workstation for engineers.

The Acer ConceptD 7 Pro is a striking laptop, unless you happen to be caught in a snowstorm. Its aluminum body is covered in a bone-white ceramic coating that’s reminiscent of the iBook from 2004.Acer ConceptD 7 Pro Laptop Batterylife is decent, but still far behind other mobile workstations we’ve reviewed. The computer is equipped with a 4-cell 5550mAh battery. The TCL 50 XL Nxtpaper 5G brings the company’s anti-glare Nxtpaper display technology, which it previously used only in tablets, to its budget phones. The TCL 50 Nxtpaper 5G is a great-looking phone. It measures 6.6 x 2.97 x 0.32 inches (H x W x D) and weighs 6.9 ounces. The Galaxy A16 is shorter, wider, and heavier. TCL’s facial recognition technology isn’t secure enough to use for authentication in financial apps, but I found it to be the easiest way to unlock the phone. The SIM/microSD card slot is on the left side, and the 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C charging port, and speaker grille are on the bottom edge.

Battery life: Not great
