With the launch of the new generation of tablets, Samsung has streamlined its product line from three sizes to two: the Tab S10 Ultra and the Tab S10+. The 11-inch screen Galaxy Tab S10 will no longer be offered. Samsung explained that this move was due to declining market demand: users who choose high-end tablets usually want the largest screen possible.

While the software is clearly more geared towards the S10+, the battery life doesn’t show a significant advantage. In our standard battery life test, the Tab S9+ lasted 8 hours and 34 minutes, while the S10+ lasted 8 hours and 26 minutes. These battery life figures are decent, sufficient for long journeys, but compared to others, Samsung is only at a moderate level in this respect. The Galaxy Tab S8 (LCD version) lasted 13 hours and 1 minute, and the 2024 Apple iPad Pro 13-inch lasted 13 hours and 9 minutes.
In terms of appearance, the two tablets are otherwise indistinguishable; the S10+ could easily be mistaken for the S9+. The body also features IP68 water and dust resistance, uses high-strength aluminum alloy material, and despite being ultra-thin (only 5.6 mm), it is very sturdy and well-made.
Camera system: Dual rear cameras.
The camera system is similar to its sibling, the Tab S10 Ultra; the Tab S10+ also offers both wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses.
